Project Engineer - Water

Project Engineer – Water Location: Atlanta, Georgia Garver is seeking a Project Engineer to join our established Georgia Water team. This role will be led by a Project Manager and involve working closely with clients to exceed service expectations and produce design‑phase deliverables such as reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details, and specifications. Responsibilities Engineered calculations and detailed design for a variety of projects, including water distribution (pumping and storage), sewer collection (pumping), water and wastewater treatment plants, and improvements and retrofitting of existing treatment facilities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET‑accredited program. Registered as an Engineer Intern (EI). 4+ years of experience in water & wastewater engineering. Previous internship experience related to design of water/wastewater systems. Strong communication skills. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook. Preferred Skills Master’s degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET‑accredited program. AutoCAD experience. Registered as a Professional Engineer or ability to become a registered PE within 6 months of hire. Experience in the study, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities and systems.
