Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, biotherapy, and infusion therapies. Ensures safe administration of treatments while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapies, and medical infusions following established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and manage adverse reactions during infusions.
• Document treatment procedures accurately in the charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including BLS and ONS standards.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding floating assignments and holiday coverage.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment (NJ license preferred; pending licenses not accepted).
• At least 2 years of outpatient oncology/infusion experience.
• Proficiency in administering chemo, biotherapies, injections, and phlebotomies.
• BLS certification required; ONS and OCN credentials preferred.
• Experience with Varian/Aria charting system.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays, as needed.
