To qualify, you must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a current Alabama RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is often expected. Experience in labor and delivery or acute care is recommended. Strong skills in communication, critical thinking, and teamwork are essential. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is helpful.
