Phlebotomist

Join our team as a Phlebotomist at Washington Ave in Kingston, NY. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or 3months or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Certification or training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Pay Range $17.75 – $20.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
