Inventory Control Coordinator

Status: Full-time, non-exempt Reports to: Warehouse Manager Travel Requirements: 0% Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM, with rotating weekend on-call responsibilities Work Location: Midland, TX Shop - Permian Basin Work Environment: Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled shop and warehouse environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and loud noise. Position Summary The Inventory Control Coordinator supports daily warehouse and inventory operations, including shipping and receiving, fulfilling field part requests, maintaining inventory levels, and assisting with nonconformance processes. This position works under the supervision of a senior inventory controller or manager and helps ensure parts, materials, and equipment are accurately received, stored, documented, and distributed. Medical, dental, vision, life, and voluntary insurance options 401(k) program Competency-based training and career advancement programs Quarterly bonus opportunities On-the-job training Personal Protective Equipment provided Long-term career growth opportunities Duties Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, including properly loading and unloading trucks Inspect incoming shipments and verify items against shipping and receiving documentation Maintain and update receiving logs according to Deep Well Services' Quality Management System standards Fulfill field part requests accurately and coordinate transportation of requested items Monitor inventory levels and notify the purchaser when reorders are necessary Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as required Maintain a clean and safe workplace (warehouse and workspace) Skills & Abilities Education: High school diploma or GED required Experience: 0-3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, or a related field Previous shop, warehouse, industrial, or oilfield experience is preferred but not required Basic computer and data-entry skills preferred Experience using inventory or work-order systems is preferred Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective organization and time-management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to learn new systems and procedures Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Effective verbal and written communication Dependability and accountability Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace Other Requirements Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop and warehouse environment Ability to fulfill rotating weekend on-call responsibilities Disclaimer The Company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
