Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (Vascular OR) will support complex vascular surgery by scrubbing and circulating as part of a specialized cardiovascular operating room team. The role includes day shifts and participation in on-call coverage to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate for complex vascular procedures, ensuring safe, accurate perioperative care.
• Prepare sterile fields, equipment, and instruments for endovascular and open vascular cases.
• Coordinate with surgeons and OR team members to maintain workflow, sterile technique, and documentation standards.
• Administer and monitor perioperative patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to on-call needs, including potential weekend and holiday coverage.
• Maintain required compliance items, including radiation badge requirements, per facility process.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active SC or multi-state RN license in hand at contract start.
• Maintain current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certification requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to scrub and circulate complex vascular cases with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Possess strong knowledge of vascular surgery workflow and perioperative safety practices.
• Understand radiation badge compliance requirements and complete any associated agency/facility steps.
• Provide required onboarding and travel compliance documentation (including SSN) within submission timelines.
