Food Sales AssociatePay: $15-$18 per hour FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Store ManagerCompany Summary: Midwest Petroleum is a retail petroleum and convenience store chain based in St. Louis, Mo. Midwest Petroleum operates 60 stores within a 150-mile radius that employs approximately 600 employees. Midwest Petroleum markets fuel through the ZX, Conoco, and Phillips 66 brands.Primary Purpose of Job: Food Sales Associates are responsible for the fresh food products made at Midwest Petroleum stores. Associates could be responsible for making both hot and cold food items based on the store location. Each associate is expected to prepare ingredients, cook fresh items, label, package, and date food items. Keeping all surfaces areas that food is prepared cleaned throughout their shifts. There will be standard recipes along with sizing portions for each product produced by this position that will be provided for all team members to follow. You could also encounter exposure to hazardous materials and loud noises. This job requires the ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach regularly. Must be able to frequently be required to lift, push, or pull weight of at least 5 to 75 pounds. Ability to work in different Midwest Petroleum Stations.
