Job Summary

The Supervisor, Back of House lead supervises hourly associates to ensure their practices comply with company policies and procedures. The Supervisor is responsible for the hourly team members on the floor before, during and after service. The superivsor should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are requried. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with management before the event to go over details. 
• Assists in ordering and keeping inventory of products.
• Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event. 
• Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
• Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided. 
• Adhere to location appearance guidelines.
• Maintains product cost and labor cost according to budget.
• Supervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.
• Maintains consistent, efficient service during peak hours.
• Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties:

• Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests. 
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. 
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day. 
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. 
• Move from sitting to stnading position easily and quickly.
