Turning Leaf Mind Rehab Consultation, LLC
Job Description
Position Overview\n
Turning Leaf Mind Rehab Consultation, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing exceptional telehealth care to individuals affected by trauma. As a full-time remote therapist, you will have the opportunity to transform lives by delivering specialized mental health services from the comfort of your own home. With a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, this position offers both financial and professional growth.
About the Organization\nTurning Leaf Mind Rehab Consultation, LLC is a pioneering outpatient mental health practice based in Eugene, Oregon, dedicated to serving trauma survivors with exceptional care and support. Our mission focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can process their experiences and embark on their healing journeys. We are recognized for our expertise in treating complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders through evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Work Environment\nThis position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance as you provide critical mental health support via telehealth platforms. Our innovative telehealth model enables you to engage effectively with clients, ensuring that they receive the same high standard of care as they would in a traditional in-person setting. You will have access to all necessary tools and technologies to facilitate your practice, including secure electronic health record (EHR) systems that streamline documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, focusing on understanding patients' trauma histories to determine appropriate and tailored treatment approaches. \n
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and progress monitoring. \n
- Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to empower patients in their healing processes. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and foster emotional healing. \n
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care for each patient. \n
- Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients receive timely assistance when needed. \n
- Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and recovery. \n
- Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities aimed at improving trauma-informed care practices. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance personal clinical skills and therapeutic effectiveness. \n
You will work primarily with individuals navigating the complexities of trauma-related conditions. Our client population includes survivors of PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders, who require sensitive and individualized therapeutic approaches to facilitate their healing. Your work will directly impact their quality of life and recovery journey.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred. \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies. \n
- Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and demonstrated expertise in evidence-based interventions. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on a compassionate and non-judgmental approach. \n
- Capacity to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to leverage technology efficiently for patient care. \n
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. \n
While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with extensive training in trauma-informed practices and experience in outpatient settings will find this role especially fulfilling. Additionally, proficiency in multiple evidence-based therapeutic techniques will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits\n- \n
- Annual salary ranging between USD 90,000 to 110,000 based on experience and qualifications. \n
- Comprehensive healthcare benefits package, ensuring both physical and mental well-being. \n
- Retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions for long-term financial health. \n
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay, promoting a healthy work-life balance. \n
- Professional liability insurance coverage for peace of mind while practicing. \n
- Support for continuing education opportunities, encouraging ongoing professional development. \n
- Career growth opportunities within our trauma-informed practice, allowing for advancement and specialization. \n
- A supportive and collaborative work environment that values team input and individual contributions. \n
