Senior Product Manager, Tech - Checkout Platform, Customer Purchase Journey Job ID: 10589204 | Amazon.com Services LLC Customer Purchase Journey (CPJ) envisions that every purchase on Amazon is effortless, reliable, and predictable. As the Checkout Platform PMT, you will own: 1) agentic purchasing, enabling customers to complete purchases through agents, with confidence, ensuring that customers see same prices, promises, and charges as customers who shop direct. 2) our Always Available program, ensuring that customers can complete purchases even when critical systems are down. Key job responsibilities You will identify and influence the prioritization of innovative, scalable solutions that ensures Amazon’s checkout experience remains efficient, secure, and accessible and enables Retail customers worldwide to review and place their order. You will partner with dedicated UX designers and Engineering teams to define the product vision and roadmap, champion the customer experience, drive the experimentation strategy, deep dive on business metrics and more. You will collaborate with the hundreds of partner teams that innovate across the purchase experience in a given year, gaining rare insight to Amazon-wide strategic initiatives and priorities. Beyond your experience area, you may own mechanisms or other goals that improve team efficiency and accelerate innovation for customers. A day in the life Dive deep with your customers to identify and understand their pain points. Monitor and manage critical metrics for your business area. Use your technical judgment and understanding to test assumptions. Think big to build durable products that anticipate future pain points. Deliver products on time with the right feature set and high quality. Evangelize your products and drive adoption. Contribute to organizational product and roadmap planning and strategic artifacts (e.g. 3YP, OP1). Help others grow professionally.
