Join Our Team at Moving Mountains Therapy Center
At Moving Mountains Therapy Center, we believe in the power of community, creativity, and connection. We are on a mission to provide high-quality, family-centered therapy that helps children and individuals of all ages overcome communication challenges, reach their developmental potential, and thrive in every aspect of life. Every day is a new adventure, and we're excited to invite a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow to join our supportive, collaborative team.
Why Moving Mountains? We believe that families and clients are the experts in their own lives. Our role is to support them in the most meaningful ways possible—through tailored therapy that fosters communication, growth, and joy. At Moving Mountains, you'll be part of an inclusive, compassionate team that works together to provide the best care and support to the communities we serve.
Whether you're helping a child find their voice, a family navigate communication challenges, or a community better understand the power of connection, every day here is an opportunity to make a lasting difference.
What We Offer:
- A Fun, Flexible Environment: No weekends or holidays—so you can truly enjoy your life outside of work.
- Collaborative, Family-Centered Care: Work with an interdisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Therapists, to provide holistic care.
- Community Impact: A large portion of your caseload will serve underserved populations, with 80% of clients covered by state-funded insurance plans.
- Flexibility: Set your own schedule to support your work-life balance and personal interests—whether that's outdoor adventures, family time, or community involvement.
- Support for Growth: We encourage your professional development with continuing education, support for passion projects, and a realistic work schedule that allows you to engage with the local community.
- Fun, Positive Work Environment: We are a work family—supporting each other's goals and celebrating our successes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Family-Centered Care: Uphold our mission of delivering compassionate, client-centered therapy.
- Collaborate with Families & Teams: Work closely with families, interdisciplinary team members, and community partners to create the best plan of care for each child.
- Assess & Treat Communication Challenges: Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, or swallowing disorders. Develop and implement effective, personalized treatment plans.
- Ongoing Support & Education: Empower families by teaching them techniques and strategies to improve communication, and create home programs to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in line with payer guidelines and Montana's speech therapy regulations.
- Contribute to the Team: Participate in team meetings, collaborate on goals for patients, and share knowledge with teammates to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Community Engagement: Help advocate for therapy services in local schools, daycares, and other community sites to raise awareness and expand access to services.
What We're Looking For:
- A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent program.
- Ability to obtain an SLP license in Montana (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!).
- Enjoyment of working with diverse populations, especially children, and family-centered care.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred or to be completed within 90 days of hire).
- A current driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle for travel to clients' homes and community locations.
Ready to Make a Difference? If you're excited about the opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment and make a lasting impact in the lives of children and families, we want to hear from you! Please send your cover letter and resume to Laura Olsonoski, OTD, OTR/L, ATP.
If you're looking for a position where you can grow professionally, make an impact on the lives of children, and be part of a team that truly cares, this is the place for you!
