Team OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Richmond Hill, NY by HMD Trucking

HazMat Company Truck Driver (W-2) - Richmond Hill, NY
HMD Trucking is looking for experienced OTR Team CDL A Dry Van Drivers to transport HAZMAT freight nationwide. We provide competitive mileage pay starting at 77 CPM Split, plus an additional 4 CPM for hazmat, with average weekly miles around 5,000 and bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections.
Join Our Team:
- Drive modern trucks that are under 3 years old with APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleeping quarters.
- Benefit from reliable in-house maintenance support.
- Be home every two weeks with full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
You Need:
- A valid CDL A license with at least 12 months of experience.
- Hazmat endorsement required. Join HMD for a fulfilling driving career!
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Clean Inspection Bonus: $100
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
