Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Expected every other weekend availability; holiday coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined ICU/PCU unit (16 ICU beds, 14 PCU beds) with ICU nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–2 and PCU ratios of 1:3
• Titrate standard ICU drips including vasoactive and sedative medications; perform mild titrations within written parameters on the PCU side
• Manage a diverse patient population including vented patients, stroke (TNK), sepsis, trauma, EtOH, OD, vascular, CRRT, and targeted temperature management (TTM) cases
• Operate and monitor thermoguard/Zoll cooling systems for TTM patients
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently; collaborate with on-unit tele tech who monitors in-house and sister sites
• Float between ICU and PCU patients within the unit as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain) in the state of Idaho
• BLS , ACLS , and NIHSS certifications required
• Thermoguard/Zoll cooling experience with TTM is required
• EPIC EMR experience is required
• Previous travel nursing experience is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred
• Comfort with a broad ICU patient population including sepsis, trauma, vascular, and CRRT cases
• Experience reading and interpreting telemetry independently
• Flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to fill unit gaps and consider block scheduling based on unit needs
