Job Title:  Forklift Operator II
Location:  Houston, TX 77045-4820 United States
Work Schedule:  Mon - Sat, from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm 
Pay rate:  USD $16/hour
Contract:  Temp to hire

Position Summary:
The Forklift Operator II is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of forklifts to move and manage inventory within the warehouse.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance with regulations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with warehouse staff
• Ability to perform equipment inspections and daily inventory audits

Core Responsibilities:

• Operating forklifts to transport pallets and materials to designated locations
• Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring secure handling and placement of goods
• Conducting regular equipment inspections to ensure operational safety and efficiency
• Assisting in inventory control processes and performing daily inventory audits to ensure accuracy
• Organizing the warehouse for safety and efficiency, including maintaining clean and organized work areas
• Following safety standards and compliance with regulations
• Collaborating with warehouse staff and other departments to meet company objectives
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
