Family Medicine Physician - Outpatient

Location: Owingsville, KY Job Type: Full-Time Setting: Outpatient Primary Care

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary and chronic care.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals.
• Build long-term patient relationships and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using eClinicalWorks.
• Participate in a light 1:12 call rotation, primarily phone-based.
• Collaborate with experienced clinical staff to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Active Kentucky medical license or eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• DOT course required.
• New graduates are welcome.
• Strong interest in serving a rural community.
• Long-term commitment and ties to the Owingsville area are strongly preferred.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• 4- or 5-day workweek options
• Light call: 1:12 rotation
• Primarily phone-based call
• No regular hospital rounds

Patient Volume

• Approximately 18 patients per day
• Primarily adult patients, with older children seen in the Family Medicine setting.
