Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine

Schedule: Full-Time, Days | Monday - Friday, with volunteer Saturdays. Shifts rotate weekly between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited program
• 2 years of relevant experience in nuclear medicine
• Cardiac experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
• Certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) or by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Conduct procedures for both ambulatory and hospital patients.
• Follow established protocols for diagnosing disease and injury as requested by a physician or licensed provider.
• Ensure compliance with safety and clinical standards throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures performed.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology.
