Registered Nurse - Infusion/Oncology, PRN

Job Summary The Outpatient Oncology/Infusion Nurse reports to the Director of Outpatient Services. Under general supervision, the Oncology/Infusion Nurse provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health‑care team to achieve desired outcomes. Qualifications Education: A minimum of ADN required. Experience: Minimum of two years of nursing experience as a registered nurse preferred; chemotherapy/outpatient infusion experience preferred. Licenses and Certifications Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA‑recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Current Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification issued by the Oncology Nursing Society required if administering chemotherapy within one year of hire or transfer to the Outpatient Oncology/Infusion department.
