Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days, 4x10 | Hours variable depending on scheduled surgeries | 36 Weekly Guaranteed Hours | Weekend hours as needed | Call rotation per unit | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide quality nursing care within an operating room setting across a range of surgical specialties
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Navigate multiple computer systems and EMR platforms, including EPIC, in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 3+ years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience with robotic, laparoscopic, microsurgery, and neurosurgery procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills
• Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 through April 1 (exemptions subject to client approval)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously within a surgical environment
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented OR setting
