School Based Clinician

Responsibilities We are seeking candidates available to begin this position in September. Pay: $31.00 - $42.00/hour Schedule/Location: Per Diem, Part Time, Full Time, In-Person About the Role Arbour Counseling Services offers Per Diem, Part Time, and Full Time Fee for Service School Based opportunities for Spanish/English speaking Licensed Clinicians or Master’s level clinicians working toward licensure in Allston, MA. School Based Clinicians work in elementary, middle, and high schools delivering mental health services to children with a variety of needs including trauma, anxiety, and depression. They work closely with school personnel, other outside treatment providers, and families to provide a quality continuum of care. This position is a great fit for those looking for a flexible schedule and/or supplementing income. Clinicians will work in one of Arbour’s schools across Boston at least 12 hours a week (2 school days) up to 32 hours a week (5 school days). School Based Clinicians support students during the academic school year. Optional home based and/or telehealth summer work is available. What We Offer Electronic Health Record (EHR) System Weekly Licensure Supervision Free CEUs Employee Referral Bonus Program Company Outings Competitive Compensation Internal Advancement Opportunities – Leadership & Management training Flexible Schedule Essential Responsibilities Assess clients or family's needs and eligibility for services Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions in accordance with assigned client needs Support clients through collaboration with client's family, school, other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources Provide case management, referrals, and treatment planning for assigned clients Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources Qualifications Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university License eligible preferred (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT) Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed) Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
