As a Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician at EYE CLINIC OF WISCONSIN, you will play a crucial role in assisting the care of patients by performing portions of the patient exam and a variety of preliminary tests as directed by physician orders. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To excel as a Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician at EYE CLINIC OF WISCONSIN, several key skills and qualifications are essential. A high school diploma is a must, along with the commitment to achieve Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification within one year of joining the team. Proficiency in the safe and efficient use of medical and office equipment is critical, as is the ability to foster positive working relationships with both physicians and staff. Work Conditions:

Eye Clinic of Wisconsin has eight locations; while staff will be assigned to a "home" location; travel to satellites is a requirement of the position. Hours of work will be dependent on the needs of the Clinic. Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting (30 pounds), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs is required.
