Anesthesiology Medical Director | Zachary, Louisiana Quick Highlights

• Location: Zachary, LA (just north of Baton Rouge)
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Leadership Role: Medical Director of Anesthesiology
• Schedule: Clinical responsibilities 4–5 days per week
• Call: No required call; optional beeper call from home for additional compensation
• Paid Time Off: 9 weeks annually

• Full-time position
• Clinical responsibilities 4–5 days per week
• Personally perform anesthesia cases approximately 2 days per week
• No mandatory call
• Optional beeper call from home available for additional pay

• Board Eligible or Board Certified Anesthesiologist
• Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
• Leadership experience or interest in medical directorship preferred
• Comfortable collaborating with CRNAs and hospital leadership

• Lead the anesthesia service line
• Provide administrative and clinical leadership
• Partner with CRNAs, surgeons, and hospital administration
• Help transition the department to a collaborative anesthesia care team model
• Support quality improvement, operational efficiency, and service line growth

• Blend of clinical care and administrative leadership
• Flexible anesthesia care model including:
  • Physician-performed cases
  • CRNA-only cases
  • Non-medical direction supervision
• Modern operating environment with 5–6 anesthetizing locations
• Broad case mix including:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
