Job Description Performance Contracting is seeking a Warehouse Sew Shop Worker for its PCI Promatec 172 operations based in Houston, TX . This role is responsible for performing sewing tasks to manufacture products according to company standards and customer specifications. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and basic sewing and warehouse skills. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and contribute to the needs of the company. Job Duties Operate various types of sewing machines (e.g., single needle, overlock, coverstitch) safely and efficiently. Assemble, sew, and finish textile products according to patterns, instructions, and quality requirements. Inspect finished items for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed. Perform minor machine maintenance, such as cleaning and threading machines or replacing needles and bobbins. Follow production schedules to meet deadlines and quotas. Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality control staff. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. Document production output and report any equipment or material issues promptly. Hourly Wage: $16/hour Basic Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic to intermediate sewing skills; previous experience with industrial sewing machines is a plus. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, patterns, and measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
