Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Pay: $2,707.20 weekly

Shifts: 7am – 7pm, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Pediatrics for a travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients aged 3 days to 18 years in an acute care environment. The pediatric unit consists of 28 beds and requires a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring optimal patient care and safety. Familiarity with EPIC charting system and Pyxis medication systems is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Pediatrics – Travel

Provide care for pediatric patients with a variety of conditions, including trauma and respiratory issues
Manage patients with common childhood illnesses and more complex conditions
Float to PICU as needed to provide additional support
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements of the RN – Pediatrics – Travel

Minimum of 2 years experience in Pediatrics
BLS and PALS certification through AHA required
Valid compact or IN RN license
Experience in a 400+ bed facility with similar acuity (L2 trauma) required
Proficiency with EPIC systems
