The general pay scale for this position is $74,979-$101,199 per year. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including prior experience, education, job responsibilities, location, and work performance. Sign‑On Bonus Qualified RN candidates are eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, payable in accordance with company policy. Bonus eligibility is contingent upon meeting all onboarding requirements and maintaining employment for at least 2 years. Responsibilities Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards. Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history. Collect and record nursing assessment and interventions. Review and report health status assessment, laboratory data, radiographic data, and psychosocial assessment of assigned patients to the provider. Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material. Provide psychosocial support to patients and families; maintain confidentiality. Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision, including medications and blood products with correct dosage, route, time, and technique. Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms before therapies. Facilitate dose modifications, venipuncture, port access, and central line maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments. Document knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture. Maintain a clean work environment: restock supplies, follow OSHA guidelines for cytotoxic agents and biohazards, adhere to disinfection protocols and quality‑control standards. Facilitate clinical operations and patient care: manage medication refill requests, assist physicians, maintain patient flow, schedule consultations and diagnostics, triage phone calls, coordinate interdisciplinary communication, locate community resources. Collaborate with clinical research, act as a resource for LPN/LVNs and medical assistants, provide nursing coverage for satellite offices, mentor/precept less experienced nurses, perform other duties as assigned. Participate in professional development and maintain current oncology nursing knowledge. Specialty Specific Responsibilities Transplant RN Provide nursing care from initial contact through high‑dose chemotherapy, stem cell rescue, and post‑rescue follow‑up. Manage symptoms, toxicities, and health abnormalities related to high‑dose therapy and stem cell rescue. Report data to transplant registries and incorporate Transplant Network recommendations into practice. Assist in community education about stem cell transplantation. Minimum qualifications: bone marrow or hematopoietic stem cell transplant experience. Infusion RN Program portable infusion pumps for continuous drug delivery and instruct patients/caregivers on pump use. Delineate knowledge of ambulatory pump use, maintenance, cleaning, and documentation. Minimum qualifications: infusion nursing experience; chemotherapy immunotherapy provider card preferred. Radiation Oncology RN Minimum qualifications: radiation oncology experience. Gynecological Oncology RN Minimum qualifications: gynecological oncology experience. Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (BSN preferred). Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Continuing education requirements maintained. 3–5 years of nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology. Oncology certification preferred. Working Conditions Environment: Typical oncology/hematology clinic setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations.
