Project Manager - Asset Assurance

Project Manager – Asset Assurance Team Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a team of technical inspectors delivering inspections for a large portfolio of retail and warehouse facilities. Fixed salary position. Key responsibilities Conduct and manage annual asset inspections at major national retail stores to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Document findings and prepare comprehensive reports. Collaborate with store managers and regional manager teams to address deficiencies. Training, scheduling, quality control management, staff development, performance control/reporting, and client liaison. Liaise with client counterparts to ensure firm understanding of evolving client expectations. Coordinate efficient scheduling for inspection deliverables, in accordance with client requirements. Supervise preparation of comprehensive reports outlining issues, compliance status, and recommend corrective actions. Identify key information sources, collect relevant data to support project delivery. Analyze data to uncover insights for designing delivery solutions and developing future sales proposals. Collaborate with store managers and regional managers to address identified deficiencies and provide guidance actions. Own internal quality control process delivering optimized client experience. Present outcomes and analysis at team meetings to communicate insights and propose value‑adding ways. Responsible for economic delivery of services, per approved project financials. Keep up to date with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices related to inspections. Utilize digital tools and technologies to enhance inspection efficiency and reporting processes. Develop understanding of Arcadis services, client businesses, and independently guide and drive team performance improvement and client relationship development. Exercise independent judgment on significant project‑related matters. Provide lead input into team hiring decisions. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience leading regional or national teams. Previous experience and advanced knowledge as a Facility Inspector or related role. Good working knowledge of retail safety standards and regulations. Excellent observational and analytical skills to identify potential hazards and deficiencies. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage travel schedules and inspection priorities. Proficiency in using digital tools and technologies for inspections and reporting. Willingness to travel extensively and regularly, including in‑state and out‑of‑state. Expertise in facility condition assessment areas (e.g., structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, building systems) is a plus. Possession of a valid driver's license.
