Job Description Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Job Description: As a Full-Time School-Based SLPA, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid SLPA license in the state of California. Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is desirable. Knowledge of special education procedures, IEP development, and Medicaid billing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-45 students. Proficiency in conducting assessments and utilizing therapy techniques for various speech and language disorders. Familiarity with technology and software used in speech-language pathology.
