Patient Service Representative The Patient Services Representative is responsible for coordinating daily activities between the Culinary and Transportation teams to ensure quality metrics and service standards are consistently achieved. This hands-on role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach to proactively resolve operational challenges while supporting exceptional service delivery. Coordinate daily operations between Culinary and Transportation departments to ensure quality and performance metrics are met. Monitor service execution and proactively identify and resolve operational issues. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client needs and offering effective solutions. Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and clients to ensure seamless operations. Support food delivery logistics and transportation as needed, including driving a delivery van when required. Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Utilize computer systems to document activities, communicate updates, and complete operational reporting. Work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Assist with other operational duties as assigned. High-volume food service, hospitality, healthcare, or logistics experience required. ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe). Valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate a delivery van. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other business applications. Ability to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail. Mississippi State Hospital Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to load, unload, and transport food and supplies as needed. Operation is open seven days a week. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Schedule flexibility is required, with shifts that may begin as early as 4:00 AM or end as late as 8:00 PM.
