AI Security Engineer

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking an AI Security Engineer in Irving, TX.Duties:* AI Security Engineer will develop and implement security controls, standards, and best practices across applications, systems, and infrastructure* Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats* Support data protection, privacy, and compliance requirements through appropriate governance and security measures* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into development, deployment, and operational processes* Develop monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities to address security events and emerging threats* Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and vendor evaluations* As an AI Security Engineer, you will provide guidance, training, and support on security best practices to technical and business stakeholders* Track security initiatives and metrics to measure program effectiveness and continuous improvementRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field* 5+ years of experience in information security, application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, or a related discipline* Experience implementing security controls and managing risk across enterprise environments* Experience with cloud platforms, modern infrastructure technologies, and secure development practices* Knowledge of security architecture, governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks* Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management* Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills* Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence security initiativesJob TypeContractCompensation57 - $62
