Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health|Psychiatric | Adolescent - Inpatient

Inpatient Adult Behavioral Health RN
Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:4507:15 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Minimum 2 years clinical experience required BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification required (will be provided by facility) Experience with EPIC and Pyxis EMR systems preferred
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adults in an inpatient behavioral health setting. Administer medications, including psychotropics and antidepressants, according to established protocols. Employ de-escalation techniques and behavior management strategies to ensure patient safety. Utilize SBAR communication for effective hand-offs and documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans.
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required. Candidate must complete lab testing within 48 hours of signing. Required pre-start modules must be completed prior to start. Up to 7 days pre-approved RTO (no holidays); no RTO during first week; must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
