Department: College of Arts & Sciences Time Type: Part time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Description: Summary: A Teaching Assistant (TA) for courses within the Computer ScienceDepartment’s duties may vary, but can include assistance withgrading, designing assignments, conducting office hours, andassisting with in-class labs. Please discuss these with yourassigned instructor to establish the expectations of the role and aschedule of working hours that is suitable for you both. As amatter of university policy, you are not expected to provide finalgrades or assessments for student work, but you may assist withgrading by providing your feedback to the instructor. Essential Functions: Assist with grading. Design assignments. Conduct office hours. Assist with in-class labs. Other duties assigned.
