Career Switchers: for People Moving from Non-Tech To Tech

Domain Knowledge Is an Asset Until You Cannot Query It
Teachers, finance ops, marketing coordinators, researchers, and business analysts often have the judgment companies want and none of the stack they screen for. You cannot get a data analyst interview because your resume still reads like your last industry, not like SQL, Tableau, and a project that answers a business question.
SynergisticIT Data Science JOPP is a fit for career changers who want data analyst and adjacent analytics jobs. Python is helpful but not required to apply. Basics in math or statistics help. The program builds the technical layer on top of the domain sense you already have.
Translate Your Past Into Analyst Language
You learn SQL, visualization, data cleaning, and enough statistical reasoning to survive case interviews. Projects are chosen so you can say, "Here is a dataset, here is the question, here is the dashboard, here is the recommendation.” That sentence hires career switchers. Vague claims about being a "people person who loves Excel” do not.

Since 2010, we've helped thousands of candidates land full-time jobs at tech leaders like Google, Apple, PayPal, Visa, Western Union, Wells Fargo, Client, Paypal, Banking, Wayfair, Client, Client and hundreds more with Job offers of $95k to $154k. You're not alone—and you're not the problem.
The reality? Most CS grads struggle to land interviews because their resumes look just like everyone else's. Employers want more than a diploma—they want proven, practical skills, real-world tools, and candidates who are ready to perform from day one.

A Practical On-Ramp Into Data Teams
After successful completion, people are hired into data analyst and hybrid roles, with program salary ranges often $86k–$150k+ and employers across retail, banking, healthcare, and tech. You do not need to pretend you were a data scientist in 2019. You need a current, honest, hireable profile.
If self-study has not produced interviews, you are missing structure and distribution.
Switch with a placement program, not a hope and a certificate. When nothing else works, JOPP works. Please note: Resume databases are shared with clients and interested clients will reach out directly if they find a qualified candidate for their req.
Resume submissions may be shared with our JOPP team database also. Please unsubscribe if contacted or if you don't want to be contacted please don't submit your resume.
