Founded in 1984, International SOS operates in more than 90 countries, delivering healthcare, medical assistance, emergency response, and workforce support services worldwide.Job Description As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting while working alongside registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Your work will include patient assessment, medication administration, medical record screening, vaccine administration, lab collection assistance, patient education, and support during urgent or emergent situations.You’ll also help provide health support for trainees and medical coverage for occasional outdoor events while contributing to a collaborative environment focused on safe, responsive care.Employment Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., including a one-hour unpaid meal period. Occasional weekend work and coverage on some federally recognized holidays are required. A compensatory day will be provided for holidays worked. No services are required on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.Compensation and BenefitsBase Pay: $22.40–$24.89 per hourClassification: Service Contract Act (SCA)Health & Welfare: Up to $5.42 per hour, in accordance with the SCAPaid Time Off: 80 hoursSick Leave: 56 hoursHolidays: 11Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients with varying healthcare needs, following established clinical policies, procedures, and scope-of-practice standardsAssess patient needs, complete assigned treatments, and accurately recognize, document, and report relevant clinical informationPrepare and administer prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications in accordance with established proceduresRecognize urgent or emergent situations, obtain assistance from an RN or physician, and initiate directed interventionsPrepare patients and equipment for diagnostic examinations and specialized procedures, assist during testing, and monitor patient conditionSupport trainee healthcare through medical record screenings, EHR documentation, vaccine administration, lab collection assistance, and medical coverage for outdoor eventsParticipate in quality-improvement activities, peer review, patient and family education, and the orientation of peers and support personnelQualifications RequirementsGraduate of an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate state agency and accredited by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA); graduate of a State Board of Nursing-approved LPN/LVN training program; or completion of equivalent military training that permits eligibility for the state licensure examinationFull, current, and unrestricted LPN or LVN license from a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of ColumbiaCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers certificationAt least 24 months of experience as an LPN within the past 36 months in one or more of the following outpatient settings: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Privacy Disclaimer: Policy LinkBy clicking “I’m Interested”and submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the applicable Privacy Policy(available via the link above) and agree that International SOS Government Medical Services, may collect, use, store, transfer, and otherwise process your personal information in accordance with that Privacy Policy for recruitment and hiring purposes.Compensation Disclaimer: Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
