This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care in a Medsurg setting, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and necessary treatments as prescribed. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and collaborate with medical staff.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN licensure and verification.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (as applicable).
- Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination.
- Completion of the Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam and Rhythm Interpretation Screening.
- Completion of drug screening and background check.
