Senior Financial & Cost Analyst

Job Description The Senior Financial and Cost Analyst plays a crucial role within the finance team, overseeing all accounting and cost accounting procedures. This position ensures timely and accurate reporting in line with company policies and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance. The role also involves providing leadership to other accountants and participating in strategic planning and functional initiatives. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $135,000 per year. Responsibilities Assess overtime spending trends and direct labor staffing levels. Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan for the business unit. Prepare financial statements and statistical reports; conduct analyses and provide recommendations. Reconcile and update weekly KPI information in accordance with corporate goals. Manage customer collections in line with payment terms and company objectives. Generate ACH transfer requests. Support timekeeping and payroll functions. Develop, monitor, and report on monthly departmental budget spending. Requirements In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with manufacturing terminology used in accounting. Strong verbal and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate accounting practices effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction at all levels inside and outside the company. Leadership skills, including people management, meeting facilitation, presentation, and customer support. Intermediate computer skills in email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
