Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Acute care experience.
• OT Certification required for this assignment.
• Alaska state fingerprint and state background must be cleared or in provisional status to start working.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4 days, 10 hour shifts.
• Hours: 0730-1800.
• Rotating schedule includes weekends.
• Weekend rotation includes Saturdays and Sundays, with 2-3 weekends per month.
• EMR: EPIC.

Location Highlights

Anchorage offers access to both urban amenities and outdoor recreation, with the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail stretching 11 miles and Chugach State Park located within about 20 minutes of downtown. The city includes the Anchorage Museum and Alaska Native Heritage Center, and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport sits about 6 miles from the downtown core. Travelers can reach Flattop Mountain Trail in roughly 25 minutes and view Cook Inlet along with the surrounding Chugach Mountains from multiple points across the city. Anchorage also provides access to day trips on the Alaska Railroad and wildlife viewing at Potter Marsh, about 10 miles south of downtown.
