About the Department:

The environment on our unit is fast-paced, collaborative, and at times unpredictable, reflecting the dynamic nature of our patients' conditions. We care for adult patients age 18 and older who are being treated for acute ischemic, hemorrhagic stroke, subdural, epidural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis exacerbation, meningitis and encephalitis, spinal cord injury, cerebrovascular intervention, and brain and spinal tumor resection.

Our patients are unique because they have specialized neurological needs.

Your Schedule:

• Full-Time Night Shift - 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (three 12-hour shifts/week)
• Shifts rotate throughout the week
• Note: Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs.
• All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment.

What You Need to Qualify:

Required :

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following:

• Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester ( including nursing fundamentals clinical ), or
• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required ), or
• Minimum of one year of recent experience ( within the past two years ) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.

Preferred:

• One year of previous experience in a hospital setting
