Role Overview

we are seeking a hands-on Quality Control Specialist to ensure that every product meets company's standards and customer requirements through rigorous inspections and audits. This role is essential for maintaining quality at every stage-from incoming materials to final product shipment-and requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

The successful candidate will perform receiving inspections, in-line inspections, and final audits, document results, and support compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards across the supply chain

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Testing

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

• Verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.

• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.

Compliance Support

• Assist in identifying and reporting nonconformities and support corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements during all inspection activities.

Equipment & Documentation

• Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.

• Maintain organized records for audits and quality reporting.

Experience & Education

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in quality control or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in quality inspection or textile manufacturing.

• Knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement tools.

• Proficiency in documenting and reporting inspection results.

• Knowledge of sewing techniques and trim applications a plus.

• Familiar with Quality management principles

Capabilities

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Familiarity with ASTM And MIL-STD requirements preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection tasks.

• Bilingual in verbal and written English and Spanish.

Travel & Work Environment

• Travel as needed (20%) to supply chain partner facilities and to company headquarters (NH).

• Performs tasks that require sustained concentration while standing and paying attention to fine details in visual inspections.

• Other responsibilities will be reasonably assigned.

• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25-50 pounds as needed for quality inspections or material handling.
