Senior Associate, Contract Revenue

Purpose of the Role

As the Senior Associate of Contract Revenue, Obama Presidential Center (OPC), you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Contract Revenue and support the Earned Income team by assisting with the development and execution of operational and administrative processes. In this role, you will work closely with the Center’s Food & Beverage Operator and Retail Operator, including collaboration during their onboarding, while also supporting management of the OPC parking facility. Your primary focus is ensuring contract compliance, revenue generation, cross-workstream coordination, and the highest level of visitor satisfaction, while prioritizing strategic objectives in alignment with the Foundation’s goals.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Operational Planning: Support engagement with the Food & Beverage Operator and Retail Operator by streamlining internal processes through this pillar of revenue generation and experiential implementation. Work across Foundation teams to support the facilitation of marketing plans across revenue streams and operational plans to manage processes.
• Compliance & Brand Standards: Manage review of Retail Operator contract compliance, addressing contractual obligations, customer experience, and alignment with Foundation brand and goals. Support in monitoring vendor compliance as it relates to diversity, inclusivity, and diverse sales strategies to further OPC economic impact.
• Project Management: Oversee team project management by creating and maintaining project plans in Asana, tracking deadlines, following up with teammates on progress, integrating processes, and coordinating schedules for vendor and partner meetings.
• Asset Management & Communications: Maintain up-to-date Earned Income-related assets (including slide decks and external-facing materials) as the primary point person. Ensure Operators comply with Foundation brand guidelines and experiential implementation.
• Data & Analytics: Serve as an accountability partner to ensure existing and new processes work efficiently across the team, supporting the creation of a reporting model across revenue operations to provide performance updates.
• Administrative Support: Organize and maintain shared Drive access, draft meeting agendas, provide recaps with next steps post-meeting, and ensure the Earned Income team has complete administrative support to execute strategic goals.
• Parking Facility Support: Provide support to the Building Operations team in managing the OPC Parking facility. In conjunction with the Parking Vendor, establish a working understanding of revenue trends and parking price strategies to maximize revenue potential during peak periods while maintaining competitive, equitable rates during off-peak periods and showing sensitivity to guest needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Deliverables / Outcomes

• Operational coordination and daily briefings across scheduled events and upcoming commitments.
• Timely deliverables and content reviewed by all relevant leads from the OPC team.
• Monitored and up-to-date Asana project plans, deadlines, and vendor meeting agendas/recaps.
• Established reporting models and operational plans across revenue streams.
• Optimized parking revenue strategy during peak and off-peak periods.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment with a commitment to guest experience standards. Operational experience in a non-profit or customer-facing organization, with an emphasis on addressing diverse audiences through revenue and engagement strategies.
• Experience designing and implementing effective, efficient systems and processes to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized, with strong decision-making skills and discretion when managing short- and long-term responsibilities in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment. Demonstrates initiative and anticipates needs.
• Graphic design skills and experience, including Adobe Suite, complemented by strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work out of the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park and/or other Obama Foundation locations in Chicago. Requires schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, across indoor and outdoor campus environments.

The salary range for this role is between $79,040 and $98,800.

This is an onsite role based at the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park.
