Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll Consultant

Job Summary:

The Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll Consultant will play a key role in supporting the Payroll Department during the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. This position acts as a liaison between technical and functional teams to translate payroll requirements into compliant and scalable system solutions. The consultant will collaborate closely with Payroll, HR, IT, and implementation partners to ensure a successful and timely Go Live. Responsibilities:

• Gather and document Payroll and Absence Management requirements with HR, Payroll, and IT teams.
• Configure payroll elements, fast formulas, absence plans, and accrual rules within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Support various testing phases including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and parallel testing.
• Manage data conversion and reconciliation activities.
• Build reports using OTBI and BI Publisher tools.
• Troubleshoot integration issues between systems.
• Provide documentation, training, and post-Go Live support to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and Absence Management.
• At least 5 years supporting Payroll through an HCM transition.
• Proficiency with OTBI and BI Publisher reporting tools for 5+ years.
• Oracle HCM Certification.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Strong background in data validation, reconciliation, and testing methodologies.

Special Considerations:

• Hybrid work environment requiring 3 days onsite in Newark, NJ and 2 days remote.
• Duration of engagement is 5 months.
• Interview process includes iLinc Webcam or in-person options.

Scheduling:

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote per week.
