Natural Gas Meter Technician job at American Energy Resources. Amarillo, TX. We’re hiring driven, hands‑on individuals to train as a Natural Gas Field Technician. This role includes travel (3 weeks on, 1 week off), great lodging, a fully equipped company vehicle, and weekly direct deposit. Responsibilities: Operate the company vehicle and ensure the equipment is in safe working condition Lead project execution and support crew safety and compliance Install, repair, and maintain natural gas meters following standard operating procedures Travel regularly with the team to job sites as scheduled Track work progress and submit accurate reports Qualifications: Willingness to travel extensively (3 weeks on, 1 week off) Physically able to work in various weather conditions Prior field tech, utility, plumbing, or construction experience preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record About Company: At American Energy Resources (AER), our leadership team brings over 50 years of combined experience in the utility services industry.
