Job Description

As a Security Officer Incident Communications in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support teams through clear communication and timely documentation. This role offers the chance to stay engaged in a dynamic environment while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Monitor communication systems, receive and relay routine and urgent calls, and coordinate the dispatch of personnel to incidents, service requests, and other security-related matters.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and communicating updates to supervisors and/or site contacts.
Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other site technology to help identify unusual activity and support timely reporting and response within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while supporting dispatch operations and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and activity records.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
