About the Role

Looking for a high-paying leadership role in food manufacturing? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Food Manufacturing Production Supervisor for a growing production facility in Hazelwood, MO.

In this role, you will lead a hands-on crew on 2nd shift, drive daily output goals, and ensure the line operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food quality standards. What You Will Do

• Shift Leadership: Supervise and direct 2nd shift production associates to hit daily output and yield goals.

• Operational Flow: Monitor line speed, troubleshoot equipment bottlenecks, and adjust floor staffing to maintain steady throughput.

• Team Training: Coach and train new team members on plant procedures, operational expectations, and workplace safety standards.

• Safety & Food Quality: Enforce continuous food safety practices, sanitation standards, and quality control guidelines on the production floor.

• Production Tracking: Monitor attendance, track performance metrics, and input shift logs into basic production management software.

• Shift Reporting: Communicate daily yield results, line maintenance needs, and operational issues directly to plant management.

What You Need

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on food manufacturing experience required.

• Leadership Experience: At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a warehouse, factory, or production environment.

• Computer Literacy: Basic tech skills for data entry, email communication, and navigating production tracking systems.

• Shift Availability: Willingness to train on 1st shift initially, then transition to managing 2nd shift operations long-term.

• Physical Ability: Comfort standing, walking, and moving across the production floor for a full shift.

• Communication & Reliability: Strong leadership presence, clear communication, and reliable transportation to Hazelwood, MO.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
