IOP Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for an outpatient imaging center in Marion, Alabama. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient data, and providing customer service in a clinical setting. Monday–Friday schedule, 8 am–5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing and payments
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Proven exceptional customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness test
