As a Senior Advisor, Operations Planning & Scheduling , you will shape the strategic and tactical planning that supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our pipelines and facilities. What You Will Do:

• Develop and maintain integrated outage plans by coordinating outage scope, schedules, duration, resource requirements, work packages, and execution constraints with operations, maintenance, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
• Evaluate operational impacts, system dependencies, critical risks, and execution constraints to optimize outage sequencing, resource utilization, and business continuity.
• Partner with Corporate Outage Scheduling and Commercial Operations to align outage timing, priorities, and maintenance activities with organizational objectives and operational commitments.
• Manage outage preparation activities, stakeholder communications, planned work requests, schedule revisions, and readiness reviews to ensure successful event execution.
• Exercise independent judgment to validate outage scope and duration, prioritize maintenance work based on equipment criticality, regulatory requirements, budget considerations, operational risk, material availability, and workforce capacity.
• Lead the maintenance planning process by facilitating weekly planning, prioritization, and advisory meetings with Operations, Site Coordinators, Area Managers, and Maintenance stakeholders to align work execution with business and operational objectives.
• Drive maintenance work management excellence through the development and implementation of planning standards, work order governance practices, and continuous improvement initiatives that advance a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance culture.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are fully planned and execution-ready by identifying required labor, materials, tooling, equipment, technical documentation, contractor support, and operational resources prior to work commencement.
• Prioritize maintenance and reliability activities by evaluating equipment criticality, regulatory requirements, operational risk, and business priorities to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and optimized resource utilization.
• Develop, review, and maintain detailed work packages for routine, corrective, preventive, regulatory, and major maintenance activities, ensuring complete scope definition, risk mitigation, and execution readiness.
• Review job scopes, procedures, and work plans to identify critical path activities, system impacts, operational constraints, execution risks, long-lead materials, and resource requirements to support safe and efficient work execution.
• Serve as a key liaison between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Contractors, and Program Owners to coordinate maintenance activities, resolve planning challenges, and support effective operational decision-making.
• Partner with Supply Chain Management and external service providers to procure critical materials, manage contractor service requests, and ensure timely availability of long-lead equipment, specialized resources, and contracted services.
• Provide leadership in asset data governance and information management by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of maintenance records, work orders, asset hierarchies, drawings, technical documentation, and enterprise asset management systems (e.g., Maximo). Drive data quality initiatives that support regulatory compliance, reporting accuracy, asset reliability, and informed business decision-making.
• Support maintenance execution and long-term asset reliability through workload forecasting, resource planning, preventive maintenance optimization, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of work management processes.
• Other assigned duties as needed.

Who You Are:

• You have a related university degree with six or more years of relevant experience, eight or more years of operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• You bring experience supporting maintenance planning, outage coordination, work management, or pipeline and facility operations.
• You are an effective change advocate with experience supporting or leading improvement initiatives in an operational environment.
• You demonstrate strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate information.
• You communicate clearly and build collaborative relationships with technical teams, operational partners, leaders, contractors, and service providers.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and hold a valid driver’s licence.
• Experience with SAP or Maximo and the ability to interpret P&IDs, diagrammatics, technical manuals, and related documentation are considered assets.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily completed in an office environment, with approximately 20% of the role performed in field settings.
• Regional travel is required for emergencies, training, meetings, and visits to assigned stations.
• Occasional travel of approximately 50 to 300 miles between work locations may be required.
• The role may occasionally require extended hours or availability on short notice to support operational needs.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light-moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read the fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility can ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet, legs, and/or hands and arms.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Base Salary:

• Base salary ranges from $96,200 – $110,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
• Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
