The Opportunity: As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work with a variety of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and split systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues and offering solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory usage.
- Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician (commercial experience preferred). Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification is a plus. Licenses/Certifications: EPA Certification (required); additional certifications (e.g., NATE) are a bonus. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
