Industrial Lab Technician (Manufacturing) – $19.75/hr

Location: Alcoa, TN

Pay: $19.75 per hour + overtime, raises earned
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (required)

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Industrial Lab Technicians for a well-established industrial manufacturing facility in Alcoa. This is a long-term opportunity for candidates with prior lab experience who enjoy working with testing equipment, quality data, and production teams in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

·         Perform routine quality testing, sampling, and analysis

·         Prepare and test industrial samples using lab equipment

·         Monitor equipment performance and perform safety checks

·         Verify test results, identify variances, and conduct control checks

·         Calibrate instruments and assist with preventive maintenance

·         Troubleshoot lab equipment and testing issues

·         Compile, calculate, audit, and verify quality data

·         Maintain accurate documentation and follow all quality procedures

·         Work closely with production teams to support quality standards

What We’re Looking For

Required:

·         Previous laboratory experience

·         High attention to detail and data accuracy

·         Ability to work independently in a heavy industrial environment

·          Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

·          High School Diploma or GED

·         Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts

Preferred (not required):

·         SAP experience

·         Prior manufacturing or industrial lab background

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

·         Starting pay: $19.75 per hour

·         12-hour rotating shifts, must be available to work all shifts and days
