Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Assist with consolidated financial statement preparation
• Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements
• Maintain fixed asset accounting records
• Assist with SEC reporting and financial disclosures
• Support SOX compliance and internal control documentation
• Partner with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Conduct accounting research and analysis of new accounting standards
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented and organized approach
• Team-first mentality
• CPA, CPA candidate, or interest in pursuing CPA designation

Preferred:

• Public accounting experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Exposure to financial reporting and technical accounting
• Positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented attitude
