Job Summary:

The Perfusionist will be responsible for operating and managing cardiopulmonary bypass equipment during surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role involves providing on-call support, including night shifts and weekend rotations, to assist surgical teams with cardiac and vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate and monitor perfusion equipment during surgical procedures to support cardiac and vascular surgeries.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and troubleshoot perfusion systems for optimal performance.
  
  
• 
  Provide on-call support, including one night shift per week, on a rotating weekend schedule every third weekend.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment operation, and patient status throughout surgeries.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry standards regarding perfusion practices.
  
  
• 
  Assist in preoperative planning and post-operative debriefings as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold valid licensure as a Perfusionist and relevant certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate clinical experience in operating perfusion equipment and managing cardiopulmonary bypass.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex medical devices.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  
  
• 
  Show flexibility to work night shifts and participate in rotational weekend on-call duties.
