Litigation Attorney / Trial experience - Irvine, California (Irvine)

Responsibilities

• As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible from inception to settlement for the litigation cases. Your duties will include, but are by no means limited to:

  • Manage a heavy case load and all phases of personal injury cases.
  • Conduct thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
  • Draft and file legal documents needed in litigation, discovery disputes, and motions, and opposing motions for summary judgment (MSJ opps).
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.
  • Trial experience a plus.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in good standing and eligible to practice law in California.
• Personal injury experience (Plaintiff side preferred).
• Litigation experience.
• Solid knowledge of Illinois state laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply statutes and case law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence.
• Experience conducting legal research, preparing briefs, and providing sound legal advice.
• Ability to manage cases effectively and represent clients with professionalism and diligence.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client service.Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred, but not required.
