We're seeking an energetic Software Engineer to design and implement a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) solution. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum base salary of $105,000, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Insert the statement. What You'll Do: You’ll be a technical expert for the project team, ensuring the successful delivery of our WMS goals and development. You will act as a subject matter expert, aligning system functionality with customer needs and operational goals. Design and optimize Blue Yonder WMS functionality using WMS configurations or by developing and/or modifying existing MOCA commands, triggers, SQL scripts, or by utilizing Pagebuilder and JavaScript; ensuring all changes are delivered via standard rollout packages. Write and maintain stored procedures, triggers, functions, and scripts to support core WMS functionality, reporting, and automation. Collaborate with operations and project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and database logic that meet KPIs and SLAs. Perform system configuration and custom development to enable new features and workflows. Lead testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of MOCA/SQL code code and application logic within Blue Yonder Trace files to ensure reliability, performance, and quick resolution of issues. Create and maintain functional and technical design documents to capture development work. Provide technical support and hands‑on training for operations teams, acting as a WMS subject matter expert. Evaluate system performance and propose improvements through database optimization, indexing, and query tuning. Partner with integration teams to ensure clean data flows (EDI, API, SFTP, etc.), with focus on downstream impacts to SQL‑based applications. Act as a change agent to support transition from as‑is to to‑be systems and processes. What You Bring to the Table: 3+ years leading Blue Yonder WMS experience or programming expertise; including functional, technical, implementation or deployment is required. 3+ years of experience leading WMS Implementations, warehouse operations focused continual improvement, or other relevant experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills, both external and internal, are key to this role. Demonstrated planning, task organizing and execution skills. Working knowledge of popular agile software development methodologies, Lean, etc. Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office products. A willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
